CARE

All our pieces are made from either solid Jewellery, brass or copper.

None of the metal that we use is plated, which means that you can clean your jewellery with a jewellery cleaner or platinum paper without worrying about the surface wearing down.

While we strive to create long lasting treasured pieces of the upmost quality, please keep in mind that jewellery is still delicate by nature and care needs to be taken whilst wearing it and storing it. We recommend removing jewellery when swimming, bathing/showering, sleeping and working with any detergents or chemicals and when doing any extreme activities. Note that the acidity of your skin and the perfumes and soaps you use may also aid in tarnishing the metal.

Non-plated metals have the tendency to naturally take on a patina and age over time,. We love how this gives character to brass, copper and silver as you wear it, However we do realise that not everyone is a fan of the ‘worn in’ look and would like to keep it bright and shiny, for this you will need to store it in an airtight container and use a gentle brass cleanser or silver cleaner if you have these, however you can also clean your polished jewellery with warm water and sunlight liquid soap and a soft toothbrush, Rinse in clean warm water and be sure to dry it with a very soft cloth (Like the one you use for your reading glasses or sunglasses) For Brushed Jewellery you can do the same but use the rough side of a’scotch brite’ washing sponge to brush/scrub it instead of a soft toothbrush to get it nice and  brushed up  again.  We also find the best way to keep your Jewellery shiny is too keep wearing it!

SIZING

Ring sizing & Measurements
The best and most accurate way to get your finger measured is to visit your local jeweller but if you are not able to you can try these tips:

To measure at home:

  • Take a piece of stiff cardboard, plastic or thick wire and wrap it around the finger.
  • Mark the exact spot where the ends join.
  • With a ruler, measure the length from end to end.
  • Use the chart below to find the correct size.

To ensure a good fit:

  • Avoid using string. It is too flimsy and will bend to the shape of the finger.
  • After you have measured the length, tape it together and put it on the finger.
  • Don’t push or squeeze it to get it onto the finger. You won’t be able to do this with a real ring.
  • Make sure it fits over the knuckle.

Note: When placing an order, please always provide us with the UK ring size
